What is Fusion Therapy?

What is Brain Guard?

Brain Guard is a natural extension of Fusion Therapy, which has always taken a whole body approach to health and pain relief. 

​Brain Guard is an upgrade that adds the key components proven to increase brain health and boost cognition while preventing Alzheimer's memory loss.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The FINGER trials wasn't about using some newly developed experimental drug. But it did involve some  pretty radical changes in the participants' lifestyle.  We all know how difficult it can be just to stick to a new diet.  Now add to that a whole new regimen of exercises and cognitive training.  But close to 90% of the participants completed the 2 year program.  That in itself is considered a huge success in itself.  

Thus the authors of the FINGER trials concluded that:
"A comprehensive program of changes to one’s daily activities in later life is practical to implement."

But these participants didn't do it on their own.  They had a lot of support from trained medical professionals. And even then, the main complaint, the largest reason for not completing the program was due to health issues and muscle pain.

That is why the Memory Guard takes the program developed by the FINGER trials a few steps further. 

We combine the 3 components necessary to protect your form Alzheimer's:

And combine that with the unique multidisciplinary therapy program we've developed and refined at our practice for over 10 years - FUSION THERAPY.

But worry not, one other discovery that was made in the FINGER trials was that a comprehensive program of changes to one's daily activities, even later in life, was not only possible but practical to implement.

However the Brain Boost program isn't an exact copy of the FINGER trial program. One of the adverse side effects of the FINGER trials, only briefly mentioned, was muscle pain. However we know from experience that pain is the number one reason why seniors start becoming less active. That is why our program takes things a few steps further and focuses on healing your pain as well.

So basically the Brain Boost Program is a combination of the FINGER trial program and our very own proprietary program called Fusion Therapy.

Only 12 percent dropped out, usually citing health problems. Further, just 46 of the 631 participants in the intervention group experienced any difficulty completing the tasks.

Other than the exercise we can handle most of that stuff for you, and we try our best to to schedule you within 1 to 3 days. As for the exercise:

1. We customize it so that you will succeed and want to return. The last thing we want is for you to not return. That's a Lose-Lose. We like Win-Wins.
2. Study after study shows how important exercise is for your health. So if you have to do it anyways, let us guide you. We have many 85-96 year olds who are able to participate in our program without trouble.

D. You don't have the time most likely because you are the primary caregiver of somebody who is disabled. This situation arises all too often. Ironically, by not participating in this program you're most likely to end up needing such care yourself. So find someone who can take over for you just a few hours a week. Think of it as you're "me" time. "Remember yourself", because if you don't, you won't be able to take care of anyone else, including you.
